You looked at 3 Shakespearean-style sonnets written by contemporary poets. You practiced paraphrase skills by writing a synopsis paragraph for each one. You then gave a brief personal response to each sonnet in another paragraph. We called these two types of paragraphs your "Mini-Analyses"

You played a game of Secret Circle Writing with Ms. Brown. It was pretty funny.

FOR NEXT CLASS: Complete and bring your Mini-Analyses to hand in. Hand in good copies of your own Shakespearean sonnets if you didn't already.

Block F (2-2) English 8
