Block A (1-1) English 9

You handed in Vocabulary for Chapters 4-6 and the answers to questions from Chapters 1-5. We read Chapter 9 of In the Heat of the Night and you began writing letters to Chief Gillespie.

You handed in Vocabulary for Chapters 4-6 and the answers to questions from Chapters 1-5. We finished reading Chapter 8 and then read Chapter 9 of In the Heat of the Night and you began writing letters to Chief Gillespie.

Block C (1-3) English 11

You were given your novels for your Literature Circle unit. Your first Lit Circle meeting will be on Monday. We read Chapter 1 from The Little Black Bag together and then I demonstrated summarizing and several different strategies for responding that you can use in your Response Journals. We went over the procedure of a Lit Circle and then you met with your circles to assign the reading section.

FOR NEXT CLASS: Be prepared for your first Lit Circle.

Block D (1-4) Socials 10

You were given your textbooks today. Woot!
We completed our viewing of "Canada: A People's History - Reform and Rebellion" in the library seminar rooms and you handed in your viewing guides.
