Block A (1-1) English 9

We watched the film version of In the Heat of the Night in the library today. You were responsible for noting the differences between the book and the movie.

I reviewed the Lit Circle requirements at the beginning of class. Many of the discussion portions are not being completed properly.

You were given the Adaptation Project today. You will be casting, soundtracking, and scouting locations for a hypothetical film adaptation for your Lit Circle novel.

FOR NEXT DAY: Bring your notes on your Adaptation Project and your novel to class with you.

Block D (1-4) Socials 10

We discussed push and pull factors for human migration. You were presented with 15 different factors and expected to sort them by whether they are push/positive or pull/negative and provide SPECIFIC examples.

FOR NEXT DAY: Complete the Push/Pull Factors poster. Due at the beginning of class. Bring your textbook.
